Miru can DM you when a new episode of something on your Watching or Rewatching list airs. Episode alerts are part of Miru+.

The alert DM
Section titled “The alert DM”Each DM says New episode out now (or Final episode out now) and lets you know if you’re behind. It has three buttons:
- Mark episode N watched: logs it on AniList.
- Mute this show: stops alerts for that show. Unmute from
/alerts. - Watch on <site>: the first legal stream AniList knows of.
These buttons keep working even after Miru restarts.
Timing
Section titled “Timing”Miru checks for new episodes every 5 minutes, so an alert can arrive up to about 5 minutes after the episode airs. If Miru was offline for a while, it catches up on episodes from up to 3 hours back.
