List buttons
When you’ve linked AniList, buttons appear under results from /anime, /manga, /season show cards and /trace. They change depending on whether the title is already on your list.
| If the title is… | Buttons |
|---|---|
| Not on your list | Add to list |
| On your list | Remove from <status> · +1 ep · 3/12 (or +1 ch) · Rate (or ★ 8 if you’ve scored it) |
Add to list
Section titled “Add to list”Opens a private prompt asking which list to add the title to. The prompt lasts 1 minute.
Remove
Section titled “Remove”Asks you to confirm with Remove or Cancel, because AniList has no undo. Your progress and score for that title are lost.
Adds one episode (or chapter). The label doubles as a progress readout, so +1 ep · 3/12 means you’re on 3 of 12.
Opens a box: “Score out of 10 (0 clears it)”. Whole numbers like 7 and decimals like 8.5 both work.
List statuses
Section titled “List statuses”Miru uses AniList’s list names, which differ between anime and manga:
| Anime | Manga |
|---|---|
| Watching | Reading |
| Planning | Planning |
| Completed | Completed |
| Paused | Paused |
| Dropped | Dropped |
| Rewatching | Rereading |
Data sources
Section titled “Data sources”AniList is Miru’s main data source. If AniList can’t be reached, searches fall back to Jikan (MyAnimeList), and the result’s footer says so.
List buttons still work on those results, because Miru matches MyAnimeList entries to AniList.
